A day of happiness

«A day of happiness. The title / theme of this new edition of Miniartextil, the twentieth, it is borrowed from that of a book of 1963 di Isaac Bashevis Singer […] The "happiness" of the title – not by chance suggested by the artist Giuseppe Coco, friend and collaborator ofMiniartextil, whose pensive character, of those who know life and know how to deal with it despite everything without radical pessimism, but also without unjustified optimism – it must therefore be understood with a non-totalizing elasticity. How did they do it, without "instructions for use", on their own initiative, each reflecting their own personality, and many, perhaps, without even knowing Singer and his book, the artists of this review, those of mini-textiles such as those of installations. That, as the Baby Singer of A day of happiness, they bear witness to happy and joyful moments, amazements and surprises, in contact with nature and the environment, in the warmth of love and family and friends ties, also relived in the memory, in the experience of new knowledge and emotions and in the tension itself towards brotherhood, solidarity and peace experienced also directly in volunteering, and also in the psychological and cultural aesthetic enjoyment that art and music can offer and in that itself, not underestimated, of dance, of games and entertainment in general ".
