[…] This route is part of the work of Sergio Armaroli, work universally understood in the broader sense that, from the relationship between art and music, consists of tools and instruments of different survey, able to define a field of common analysis: the constant search for a unity of experience. Form, a, speech, actions and sensory perceptions talking together in a constant exchange of inspiration and collaborations, and merged into a single result expressive and aesthetic, process of total synthesis of the arts.
A synthesis in which each element refers to one another, a succession of things and events arranged in a rhythm, a musical sequence, finding in the Wagnerian Gesamtkunstwerk its deepest roots. The artist becomes a promoter and advocate pure essence and meaning of the reality that surrounds him, shifted depending on one's sensibility and the means at its disposal, of his ability to listen, the possibility of merging everything and thought.
Artist, painter, photographer, musician, poet, Armaroli reflects the shape of the modern artist, a modernity that, drawing on tradition and culture, is filtered in a strained relationship between past, present and future. Sign and image, gesture and action, language "semiotic" and body language, where each element of visual and sound finds its equilibrium in a set of relationships and deeper connections.
