Armida Gandini (Brescia, 1968).

Armida Gandini lives and works in Brescia. The theme of identity has always been at the center of his investigation and occupies a prominent place in his works, that develop through different languages ​​such as photography, drawing, installation and video. In his current projects the relationship with the other is predominant, which determines their cultural descent as well as their identity. Significant in this regard are the projects dedicated to Mothers and ai Fathers of culture, to which the artist pays homage with simple visual gestures of gratitude. Remains constant, right from the project The fairy tale forest (2000), the relationship with literature and cinema, which over time has represented an important and dialectical suggestion.
