There are exhibits that seduce like a good book; perhaps difficult to read, but capable of leaving something, at the end of each page, that you invite to read the next page, and so until the end. And there are exhibitions that instead seduce like a mountain panorama, or like a marina immersed in the sun, or like the fire that burns in a fireplace in autumn. Lives we cannot afford, without presumption, he wants to go both ways, maybe at different times, certainly leaving the choice to the user (the seduction, at least in art, it implies the desire to be seduced). But I don't intend to anticipate the conclusions: the seduction of the second type described is evident from the moment you enter the BACS space in Leffe, that immediately immerses us, it embraces us in a large installation made up of individual works, but which nevertheless presents itself as an enveloping “whole”.
