At first it is a kind of essence, fluid and disjointed, to take the form of the color of a background, strictly monochrome and uniform, from which, with difficulty, the figure comes out.
Lights and shadows chase each other and are enriched with glazes and "repentances"; the hue becomes gradually lighter, to welcome the spontaneity of "forms of light" that a lunar envy, crystalline and silvery tones, leads to evanescence.
It is the physical place of light and, at the same time, it is the fluid essence of the body.
All around, a tangle of filaments, sometimes chromatically contrasting, or with more intense tones, they "harness" the figure, in an attempt to hold her to a force, immanent and primordial, that presses to reabsorb it to the vision. A “brain” painting, that of Alexander Saturn, for which, thought becomes colour.
