The debate around the aesthetics and perception of urban space implies a new awareness in building and transforming, taking into account the architectural landscape, cultural and social of the place, in a word: the genius loci. In the Horizons and Breaths series, Giorgia Beltrami, records the memories of his passage through the Emilian lands. It is the contrast between black and white that prevails. The red color raids stop on billboards, pylons, cranes and street lamps that, as well as creating a balance of planes within the image, indicate their difficult integration with the surrounding nature, to which close ups are dedicated.
