A dense circus of artists - more than 60 - gathered around the "genius" of a place, reviving it through one's reflexive doing, creating as many original and distant works, most of them specially made, which are summed up with existing works to render that complex and profound concept linked to the savage and all its historical interpretations, folkloric, philosophical but also personal. The volume is conceived as a long creative text, built on the works of artists, which - like the exhibition - has been divided into "illustrated" and "reasoned" topics, in order to create a real path capable of making immediately tangible, even before any further study, the many meanings that the figure of the savage has assumed over time, in history and in the collective imagination.
