Laveri Casino

Monograph published on the occasion of the Giorgio Laveri exhibition Laveri Casino, edited by Francesco Civiero, Ducal Palace – Staglieno Cemetery, Genoa, 9 December 2022 – 15 January 2023, created in collaboration with Civiero Art Gallery.

Fifty years allow a reasonable analysis of the necessarily Artistic life that has been granted to me. Necessarily because I could not have lived without expressing myself through the three disciplines that have "ordered" my path. The cinema, the Theater and the Ceramics.
I have witnessed this time with a myriad of events around the world and it feels like a moment, a throb, a blink of an eye.
But I think of the effort of every man who has to put one leg in front of the other every day so as not to fall. And this incessant effort asks us to continue further, to continue without stopping.
That's why I'm happy to set up this new event at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.
Not for show, not to stop me, not to mirror myself… but to continue.
