This volume recounts the three exhibitions that mark the "return of Arturo Martini" in Liguria o, more precisely, in that strip of territory in the province of Savona between Albisola and Vado Ligure where the great sculptor lived and created 1920 and the 1932: "THE MOST VAGIOUS AND MYSTERIOUS TALE". CERAMICS BY ARTURO MARTINI (Albissola Marina, MuDA Exhibition Center, 21 May – 29 August 2021), "... TO THE CASTLE OF OUR ENDLESS DREAMS". SMALL WORKS BY ARTURO MARTINI IN VADO LIGURE (I'm going to Liguria, Museum A. Martini – Villa Groppallo, 22 May – 31 July 2021), "WE ARE THE FACTORY". THE PHOENIX OF MANLIO TRUCCO AND ARTURO MARTINI (Albisola Superiore, Museo M. Makeup, 28 May – 24 July 2021).

A story that tells of his relationship with local ceramic workshops and the evolution of bronze sculptures, plaster and terracotta declined in three chapters: the first in Albissola Marina was born following the unmissable opportunity to "bring home" over forty works by the Maestro, in majolica and terracotta, gathered in the collection of the lawyer Costantino Barile, famous ceramologist who personally knew the Master; the second at the Museum A. Martini from Vado Ligure, town where he lived, where he bought a house for his museum and where he rests; the third chapter at the M. Trucco of Albisola Superiore where Martini has created the small sculptures in which it is possible to grasp the seed of his greatness.

The exhibitions, organized by the Lino Berzoini Association and curated by Carla Bracco, Nico Stringa, Magda Tassinari and Donatella Ventura, have been promoted and supported by the Municipalities of Albissola Marina, Vado Ligure and Albisola Superiore with the patronage of the Liguria Region and the Municipality of Acqui Terme and the contribution of the De Mari Foundation.
