Osvaldo Licini by Fainplast Award. Selected artists 2024

Publication created on the occasion of the presentation of the selected artists for the Osvaldo Licini by Fainplast Award 2024, reached his fourth edition.

The award is named after Osvaldo Licini, central figure of twentieth-century Italian art and one of the most significant artists from the Marche region, of which the city of Ascoli Piceno it preserves an important nucleus of works.

Artistic evolution of Licini marked a revolutionary path that still inspires new generations today. His painting, in which tension coexists between form and color, between sign and space, it opened new avenues in understanding visual language, fusing figurative and abstract elements in an imaginative and visionary vocabulary. It is precisely this spirit of continuous research and bold experimentation that we find in five selected artists for theedition 2024 of the Prize: Luca Bertolo, William castles, Collected Colotes, Alessandro Pessoli and Alice Visentin. The Osvaldo Licini Prize by Fainplast thus confirms itself as an award that celebrates and promotes excellence in contemporary Italian painting.
