Riccardo Pocci. My favourite things accompanies the exhibition of the same name held at Palazzo Pretorio in Campiglia Marittima (20 June – 15 September 2026), presenting itself as a tribute to the artistic research of Riccardo Pocci (1972-2024). Through the contributions of Marta Biagini, Lorenzo Canova, Andrea Ponsini, Lise Carta and Andrea Baldocchi, the catalog traces his most recent research, highlighting a language capable of weaving together painting, drawing, engraving and technical experimentation.
The images of the works on display reflect research focused on the relationship between man and the environment, on the memory of things and on the evocative power of light, in a constant dialogue between observation of reality and poetic transformation. The volume also documents the comparison between Pocci's woodcuts and those of Carlo Guarnieri, set up in the spaces of the Guarnieri Museum, highlighting a significant continuity between engraving tradition and contemporary sensitivity.
A catalog that is both critical testimony and affectionate tribute to an artist whose legacy continues to speak to the present.
