God said “let there be lights in the firmament of heaven, to distinguish day from night…. made two large lights, the greater light to regulate the day and the lower light to regulate the night, and the stars… and placed them in the firmament of the sky to illuminate the Earth and to separate the light from the darkness. And it was evening and it was morning ".

The artistic research of Marica Moro investigates the rational aspect of man in a cosmic sense, who has to use his own brain, that is science, to get to understand the laws that govern his own life and that of the other beings that populate the Universe. In particular, in collaboration with some astrophysicists, Marica reinterprets the theory according to which DNA, which distinguishes all living beings, is the result of continuous cosmic transformations that often occur in the cataclysms generated by the collision of the stars. It follows that life is the consequence of infinite randomness and, for this, a precious "gift" that should not be wasted but best valued, also through Science and Art, as effective dissemination tools, to arouse in people a strong motivation for continuous collective improvement.

Caterina Notte, instead, it enters the depths of the human being and in particular that of the woman. His early research addresses the problem of the dualism between reality, in which she herself is the protagonist, and its reading through photographic representation, resulting in the "Genetics" project. His research continues, in the works presented in this exhibition, addressing here the dualism between the awareness of power (instinct) and human weakness (here represented by female beauty) with the "Predator" project. A backward journey aimed at "capturing" our origins and leading us towards the awareness of our existence (I). No less important for this photographer artist is the relationship of trust and empathy that she manages to establish with the protagonists of her shots and this confirms the power of the photographic tool and the communicative value of images today.. Caterina Notte argues that "reality is amazing but art can rewrite it and add more". With her, the photographic medium becomes one of the most valid creators to lead us beyond what appears, "Beyond the light".
