“Appointment with the artist” is the residency project created by Paolo Palmieri and Maria Antonietta Collu for the spaces of Palmieri Contemporary. An appointment experienced as an opportunity, result of a passionate and courageous choice, «a small window on the world of contemporary art in a small town, His work has been exhibited, hundreds of kilometers away from the glittering haunts of art", affirms Maria Antonietta Collu.
They were invited for the sixth edition of “Appointment with the Artist”. Ermanno Brosio and Rectum Pulfer, with the curatorship of Antonio Grulli. The volume, which documents the moments of the residency and the final exhibition (6 December 2024 – 6 June 2025), collects the editor's text, the conversations between all the figures involved and a selection of shots taken by Marcello Campora.
