Visual harmonies

Volume published on the occasion of the exhibition Visual harmonies, edited by Stefano Silvestri, with works by Giorgio Laveri, Mitzi Simonetti and original music by maestro Leonardo De Amicis, Carlo Bilotti Museum – Orangery of Villa Borghese, Rome, 23 – 28 September 2025.

“The music, painting and sculpture - ancient and always current noble arts - find in this exhibition an emotional synthesis that gives us back the value of the dialogue between artistic forms of human expression. There is nothing didactic or forced in this meeting: everything moves in a naturalness that reflects the rhythm of inner life, where a sound can evoke a color, where a line can tell a silence.

Maestro Giorgio Laveri, with the plastic and iconic power of his sculptures, gives body to the bow, vibrant symbol of ensemble music. The painter Mitzi Simonetti translates the language of sound into intimate visions, chromatically dense and spiritual. Master Leonardo De Amicis, finally, accompanies us with an original composition designed for the occasion: a string trio that acts as a bridge between space and time, presence and resonance”.
