Pnf27 – Ilaria Feoli. A garden of flowery poems

Volume published on the occasion of the exhibition Ilaria Feoli. A garden of flowery poems, edited by Livia Savorelli, Guidi&Schoen Contemporary Art, Genoa, 11 April – 10 May 2025. The exhibition is organized by the Arteam Cultural Association as part of the project Monteforte Irpino Next Generation Dream On!.

“Speaking only of photography to identify the expressive medium of the young Avellino artist is a mistake not to make, being his research a stratified path that combines analog photography, Through the printing on silver salts, collage, Embroidery and use of the Ready-Made, To give the wider spectrum of possibility to narration and "to strengthen concepts and sensations, opening a passage in which the observer can project himself into surrealty, definitively leaving rationality and immersing himself in the paradoxes and dreamlike rooms/instances ". Everything that Feoli introduces into her work is therefore part of a process of decomposition and removal of the image, Also through the use of the aforementioned rhetorical figures and the metaphor to create "new horizons" and "illusory spaces", but also of the semantic nature of the word that becomes the door of access to the surreal ".
