Contemporary society sees a growing interconnection of people and places resulting from advances in information technologies, communication and the diminishing importance of barriers and borders in international economic relations. The globalization of styles, economic patterns and models that lead to political convergence, cultural and economic between countries, it has helped to offer a strong level of subversion in the individual due in part to the growth of insecurity.
Sociologists claim that, in contemporary societies, the production of wealth goes hand in hand with the production of risks.
In other words, to the notion of "danger coming from outside", to defend against, that of risk and threat must be replaced as the result of the very manifestation of modernity, of freedom and wealth.
Nicola Evangelisti, great observer of reality, wanted to start, with the solo exhibition BEWARE hosted by Area35 Art Gallery in Milan, a reflection on the relationship between a sense of insecurity, threat and instability of equilibria where, his unique way of making art, which partly preserves the logic of the physicist-mathematician with its perspectives given by the light sculptures, installations and holograms, leads the viewer to reflect on one of the most current topics in the world today and absorb greater awareness of social destabilization.
