The volume, dedicated to the evolution of contemporary Arazzo in Italy with some European and non -European raids, from the 1950s to the 19th century to today, presents the documentation of tapestries and vintage rugs exhibited at the Dino Zoli Foundation, together with further contents and food for thought, outcome of the study and research activities preparatory to the realization of the project.
The book, with Preface by Monica Zoli, Critical essay by Nadia Stefanel and individual cards dedicated to the apelies and works on display, It is divided into eight sections: Italian arazzeries, Ateliers Pinton, Niki Berlinguer, Contemporaries, Sardinia, The territory, I tappet, Artisan intelligence. One last part - entitled Extra - collects some works not exposed to Forlì, but interesting for the purposes of the narrative and possible object of a further moment of study.
