As part of the non-profit, in fact, Banking System decided to support and promote emerging talent in the arts and cultural, offering opportunities and privileged channels of visibility - even through regular exhibitions at its offices in Rome and Milan - young people who have chosen to take this path.

The first exhibition of the 2014, which will be inaugurated 29 January, is a staff Alberto Gianfreda and presents a collection of seven large sculptures and new drawings are designed solely for spaces Bank System in Milan.

Banking System, with the opportunity, also publishes a bilingual catalog (Italian and English) exposure with our publisher by Andrea Del Guercio, Artistic Director of OffBrera Milan, and with a contribution by Nicola Carrino.

The exhibition is based on the contrast between the geological age of our planet, considered young, and our social system, inversely old and outdated, but are united by a common destiny: continuous shock, fluctuations, collapses, reversal of plans. Hence the title of the exhibition: “earthquakes”, or earthquakes. Of an earthquake can not be established, if not at the end, the start time, predict the term or entity, and especially the outcome.

The exhibition tells then, through a group of unpublished works, the results of a "shock" that created sculptures far from being absolute icons but the only destination of a process of transformation, manipulation, alteration of objects and materials. Marble, terracotta, metal, wood and fabric are some of the materials that characterize the large-scale works on display, together with the related projects.

The exhibition is enriched by the shots taken by photographer Stefano Pasini, that has condemned some of the most intense moments of the artist's work.

From 5 April 2014 the staff continues at the Museo Canova in Possagno (Treviso) spaces designed by Carlo Scarpa where they are collected over 50 plaster original of the great Master. The exposure here is recognition of the work carried out by Alberto Gianfreda with sculpture "La know", winner of Antonio Canova 2012. The award - sponsored by the Guerrieri Rizzardi - relies on a prestigious committee made up of Gabriella Belli, director of the Foundation Civic Museums of Venice, by the writer Isabella Bossi Fedrigotti, artist Nunzio Di Stefano, Mario Guderzo, Director of the Museum of Plaster Casts Gallery and Canova Possagno (TV), by Josephine collector Panza Biumo and Francis Stalks, Senior Curator del Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen Rotterdam di.
