Asako Hishiki Asako Hihowas born in Japan in Hamamatsu (Shizuoka) in 1980. He obtained a degree in Painting in 2004 presso Joshibijutsu Daigaku (Joshibi University of Art and Design) in Kanagawa, Tokyo. In 2005 he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna where, in 2010, he graduated in Painting and subsequently, after obtaining a scholarship from the Italian Government in the same year, he enrolled in the two-year specialist course in Painting where he graduated in 2015. He regularly holds workshops and courses in Milan and northern Italy on some traditional Japanese techniques such as woodcut wonder, the bookbinding givers and it shibori your letter. He lives and works in Monza.
